Pope Francis Takes the Bus

This book about Jorge Bergoglio is a treasure. I read it cover to cover in a few days, and enjoyed its delightful approach to Pope Francis’ simple call to religious life and the priesthood. He has lived his vow of poverty, as a Jesuit, in simplicity and love for years. As Pope he teaches lessons in compassion through example. I have already passed this book onto a friend to read.

This a wonderful read. I showed to my niece, who is a sophomore in college. She read through a couple stories and commented how much she enjoyed the format. Good for all ages.

Suggested it for a book club we’re hoping to start as a result of an upcoming retreat.
