Celebrate creativity in this meditative journey for the word-weary. Introducing a quiet, sometimes-playful, always meditative way to engage with God through color, creativity and prayer. At Play in God’s Creation is a collection of Daniel Sorensen’s evocative, searching drawings, integrated seamlessly with Tara M. Owens’ brief prompts and intentions. You’ll go on a journey through dark, arched passageways and spacious open fields, meeting God even as He slips between stained glass and sycamores. Color and contemplate, connect, explore and embellish. What a beautiful way to speak with—and listen to—the Divine. Stock #: B53098

I do like the meditations. I find the pictures too confusing, too many spikes, too distracting from the meditation. etc.
Since this was the first adult coloring book I purchased, it did not give any suggestions as to what medium of paints to use for the paper. I settled on pencils.

I gave this as a gift

The person seemed to like it. She does like adult coloring books and this has wonderful quotes.

Colorful Contemplation!

I bought 10 copies for gifts and am delighted with the beauty for use for prayer. A friend will use it with her caregiving for her mother who has Alzheimers; a friend will color with her 10 year old daughter. Each person sees the blessing in the release of coloring while entering peacefully into prayer individually or with sharing the experience.

We have been meeting monthly for 18 years, six women, to renew our spirituality in very human ways. I gifted each with a copy and pencils. They are thrilled, as I am, tho unskilled in art.
