If a picture is worth a thousand words, then these pictures are worth a million. Probably more like priceless. You'll find yourself not just reading about the Pope's experience in America, you'll be re-living it!
I saw the book advertised in a religious Magazine and I purchased three books, one for my son, whose in the Marine Corp. one for me, and one for our parish priest, Father Francis. Father Francis blessed the books for us. We love the books very much, thank you so much for making them available to the public. God Bless You!
I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for a disabled friend who has a deep love for Pope Francis. She has really enjoyed the photos and the writings in this book. It was beautifully done.
While I didn't get to personally see Pope Francis while he was in the U.S., I watched much of the live CNN coverage that was available. Even at work, I had the coverage streaming on my second computer monitor. His words and actions were so inspiring! I even got to "attend" Mass with the Pope via the internet.
This book captured photos that represent many of my favorite memories of his visit! I've had it on my coffee table for friends to see. Once they see the first few pages, they want to borrow it (which I happily let them). It will be one of the few books that I never discard. The photos truly seemed to capture the essence of Pope Francis - the man, the spiritual leader, and an inspiration to all who are called to love God and his people..
nicely done; thanks very much. wish, however, that the participating archdioceses didn't feel the need to offer a competing volume. JJG
