I appreciated how this book shares the stories of 21 remarkable women saints, many of whom were new to me. We come to know and love these remarkable women and the beautiful qualities that define each one of them. Melanie Regney also relates every day people in her own circle who have these same qualities, yet aren't canonized as saints, and how she draws inspiration from both. An interesting, inspiring book that I have been drawn to share with others!

Disappointed

I was hoping to find saints that I could relate to and try to imitate. Instead I found saints from all over the world almost all of whom were professed religious. It was no different from Catholic grade school in the 1950s where the only REAL Catholics were the priests in and sisters.
