Join Sri on a transformative journey where you will uncover profound spiritual insights and treasures within the scriptures.

Perhaps the Christmas story has become almost too familiar. A virgin giving birth. A child laid in a manger. Shepherds greeted by angels. The Christmas story has become so familiar that the profound, even shocking, nature of the incarnation might be overlooked. But what if we had never heard the story before? What if we were hearing it for the first time, like the first-century Jews? These events certainly would not be taken for granted—they would signal something new: the dawning of the long-awaited Messiah. Item# 36651

Edward Sri did a wonderful job with this devotional. Not too long. Kept my interest. Gave thought provoking questions on scripture to consider.

This book contained many beautiful treasures to read and see (all the pictures). I learned about the meaning of the Advent Symbols, the Jesse tree persons, scripture and symbols.
I loved reading scripture by learning how to practice Lectio Divina. Beautiful.
The Advent section on Virtues. The Virtue, knowing the virtue, living the virtue and scripture so meaningful. I want to practice all 7 virtues but Docility especially touched my heart.
This is a beautiful book. I highly recommend everyone to purchase this treasure.
