Divine Mercy

Divine Mercy

We have assembled a collection of resources to help you tap into the graces of The Divine Mercy devotion.
The Divine Mercy devotion is based on the writings of Saint Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun, with little formal education, who kept a diary. She wrote nearly 600 pages that recorded revelations she received about God's mercy. Even before her death in 1938, the devotion to The Divine Mercy had begun to spread.
Pope Saint John Paul II was a key figure in the resurgence of the Divine Mercy message. When he canonized St. Maria Faustina, the Second Sunday of Easter would be known as Divine Mercy Sunday.
