Mystics, Twelve who reveal God's Love

REPLY
I'll try to be brief and merciful:
1. Difficult and perplexing read
2 page numbering for chapter beginning are ALL WRONG
3. I (mistakenly evidently) thought these lives of mystics would be of some inspiration to the reader...or at least attention capturing. Very few were.
Summary: advice: use only as a specific synopsis reference guide for specific persons(mystics = mysterious.)
Not a book to sit and read by the fire. It might wind up in the flames.

Love the Mystics

I just love Father Murray’s writing. He makes the point of why we are interested in the mystics-they experienced the closeness of God and we’re able to join their Self with God and we want that. This is worth the read. It’s opened so many doors in my mind, it’s given me a goal and ideas of how to just let go and let God (to use an old mantra, lol). I will treasure this book always. It’s that awesome!!
