Quite Deep

I’m still chewing on it. It has helped me understand St. Francis in a deeper way than I did before. I never got this depth in my studies for my profession as a SFO. I’m glad that I purchased the book.

"Core Insight into the Spirituality of St Bonaventure"

Sr Ilia Delio, OSF’s book on The Mysticism of St Bonaventure is a delight.
Is it a challenging read - indeed. Is it a tough read - indeed. But, what a delight
and spiritual journey into both Francis of Assisi’s and Bonaventure’s profound
spirituality. Graduating from St Bonaventure University & Christ the King Seminary at the University, the book offers wonderful insights & material for
sermons. As a student of Prof Ewert Cousins, she focuses on this insight of St Bonaventure: “there is no other path but through the burning love of the Crucified”. Sister Ilia’s writing is clear, focused, and so refreshing!!
