My husband and I wanted to give our 5 grandchildren something spiritual for Christmas. We chose this book as a way to do this. They all live in the same household and it gives them something about God and the saints to look at.

I had thought this publication was over-hyped. I had hoped it would be a keeper, but I recycled it instead.

I appreciate the beautiful illustrations and photographs accompanying the stories in the magazine! I especially enjoyed the article on "An unlikely Patron Saint" as St. Therese is my Confirmation Saint. I also have compared God;s children to flowers. I too see the beauty in each flower and I strive daily to see the good in each person. I question when St. Therese says, “I trust that your plan is better than my own.” (p. 10) I see how much Jesus delights in our relationship and the relationships we have with other people. I think instead of "your plan" it is "our plan.” We each have a voice and I personally delight in our relationship and our plan each and every day.

One can never tire reading about the saints who so wonderfully served our Lord. This publication shares the stories of contemporary saints and blesseds as well as revisits some of the giants like Sts. Francis and Clare. I just kept reading it over and over!
