Helping me learn contemplative prayer

For sometime now I have been attempting contemplative prayer, particularly during my Adoration hour and a half each Friday. Finding this book which I am reading slowly and deliberately is helping me. Today I jumped ahead to read the afterword and found it enlightening. So, for certain, This book is leading me to becoming both closer to God and increasing my understanding of contemplative prayer. Wonderful book if struggle with distraction in Prayer

As someone who is so easily distracted in prayer, this book is a wonderful and humorous aid in helping to acknowledge those distractions, and make them part of your prayer. Father Thibodeaux must be a mystic , as it seems he wrote this book just for me 😊
