I have completed the 52 days saying the prayers. These prayers are now part of my daily and Friday prayers. I am thankful for the exposure to knowing this book existed and now in use with family members. Again thank you. Agnes
Being a Secular Franciscan I was immediately drawn to this book. Each of the Eucharistic Adoration reflections are based on both St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare. Following the advice of St. Clare, the 52 reflections are based on gazing upon Christ with a quote from Francis or Clare, considering Christ with a meditation from Franciscan tradition, contemplating Christ with new prayers, and imitating Christ by responding to a personal challenge. I take this book to church with me at all times. I love it!
Enjoying the relections
This is a small book filled with 52 guides to prayer. Each one is divided into sections - Gaze, Consider, Contemplate, and Imitate. This is a valuable book to encourage thoughtful and prayerful means to consider our relationship to God, in the Franciscan tradition of Adoration..
I find it hard to sit quietly for Adoration but this booklet give me something to think about, reflect on; now it is easier to go to Adoration
