Prayer: Our Deepest Longing

Opening my eyes.

I began reading the book thinking I would learn only the bare facts about loneliness. This was due to fact since I worked as a psychotherapist for the past thirty-five years, what was there new to learn. I was woefully wrong. The book opened up new vistas of seeing loneliness in a totally new light. This new light enabled me to look at the patient also in a new light asking the patient (are you lonely) gave me new opportunities for treatment. Thank you.

Disappointed

Prayer: Our Deepest Longing is a very inspiring book. I appreciate it. But I must say I am disappointed with Franciscan Media. The first books I ordered from you were two Silent Compassion. I was shocked when I received them. They were so small and the print was VERY small. I ordered one for me and one for a senior sister who loves Richard Rohr. When I gave it to her, she returned it saying, "I can't read this. Look at the very small print". I wrote to you about this and I was reimbursed for the price. I don't understand why you would print such a wonderful book like this. You obviously cater to younger readers who may have better vision. Then I bought three copies of "Yes And..." I saw this on Facebook and I feel that it was false advertisement. You state that Richard Rohr is the author when he is NOT. The first two paragraphs of the book prove this. He says "I know my name is on the cover but..." I told many people about this and wrote it on Facebook. I asked you to take my address of your list. Thank you!!! Sister Mary Agnes Spampinato CSJ
