Stand Still: Finding Balance When the World Turns Upside Down

Though the author offered this book as reflections on life throughout the daily disruptions of the Covid pandemic, I have read it, first in Minute Meditations, and then the entire book, during the first months of grief from the death of my husband. Nothing turns the world upside down more thoroughly than this. The book had spoken directly to my experience and is helping me to thrive.

The Right Time

This delightful book is filled with gems of spiritual and practical truths that are especially valuable for everyone who remembers the turmoil and confusion of COVID-19. It is amazing how far we have come from the darkest days of the “Coronavirus.” Terry Hershey has given us a chance to look back, not at the darkness, but at the hope, we clung to in Jesus Christ. It is the right time for this book for insight and lessons learned so that we can better cope with other disasters in our lives both big and small. We are taught to seek the things that really matter.

Terry Hershey at the Top of his writing but…

Terry Hershey at the Top of his writing, yes but I say that about so much of his work.

Great stuff.

Standing still

I have not read the book yet. But this survey name " judge me" made me laugh. Isn't that the antithesis of Rohrs teachings as well as Jesus. I haven't judged the book but I'm happy with Franciscan media.
