Eager to Love Companion Guide: prompts and reflections for contemplation

published by Franciscan Media | Trade Paperback | 320 pages
$ 19.99

St. Francis of Assisi may be one of Catholicism’s most popular saints, but he is also perhaps the most misunderstood, often caricatured in birdbaths and gardens. In this Eager to Love Companion Guide, globally recognized teacher Richard Rohr invites readers into the dynamism of Franciscan spirituality. As Pope Francis has also done in several encyclicals, Rohr invites readers into the expansive and inclusive tradition founded on St. Francis’s revolutionary embrace of the teachings of Jesus. It is recommended that this guide is read alongside Rohr’s Eager to Love: The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi. Item#B53459

Eager to Love

Fr. Rohr demonstrates how St. Francis has totally absorbed the Gospel message and lived it. He gives practical ways of following St. Francis' example. It is so obvious how deeply Fr. Rohr loves being a Franciscan and practicing "The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi".

Great thoughts

It is hard for me to give an unbiased review since I always look forward the Rohr's thoughts. Also I am coming to understand why we should relate to St.Francis encouragement to follow the gospels in these days of political and social chaos. Both

I already sent a response. Did you not read it? The book is excellent. However there are a number of blank pages, leaving out some of the message. Did others also get such copies??
