Gratitude and Grit: The Life of Blessed Solanus Casey

I have been follower of Fr. Solanus Casey for a number of years since I lived in the Archdiocese of Detroit. This wonderful book brought me new insights into what a holy man he was and is. I pray for his intercession and plan to visit his shrine for the first time next month.

EXCELLENT! I have so seldom been so moved about a person's life story. I enjoyed the style, the simplicity, the wealth of information about this important new Blessed! Thank you.

A Saint for our modern world

His story is worth reading. The life of Solanus Casey shows us a man who loved the world and people, but loved God more. He was able to allow others to feel and experience
that same love by the way he lived and treated others. His love overflowed to all people not just to those in his immediate environment.
People were attracted to him, because he exuded joy…
Joy of life which came from his deep love of God. He is a person I wish I could have met when I was in Detroit.

I bought it as a gift for a person whose family had known Blessed Solanus Casey. I did not read it myself.
