I've dealt with body image issues since childhood. For the first time, I've finally acknowledged (through this study) WHOSE I am and the truth about all I have been gifted in my body for good. I'm encouraged to move forward with a new narrative and a view of the person God has made me to be in order to bring effective change into a dark and broken world.

I was very disappointed. The name of Jesus did not appear once in the entire journal. Neither was there a single scripture. If Franciscan Media is offering a secular publication like Luminous, 30 Day Journal it should be clarified as such in your promotion. I’ve determined not to purchase anything further from you. As an elder and feeling negative about my own changing body image, the title was compelling. Although I have completed 80% of the journal, I've gained so many insights from the depth of the authors exploration of the intimate link of body and soul. This not only included my present state of mind, but a my lifelong disdain for the wonderful bones, muscles, skin. facial features I have been given.

Great guide for reflection and working on a hard topic, esp. for older women like me.
