"Progress is never a straight and uninterrupted line, but we have all been formed by the Western Philosophy of Progress that tells us it is, leaving us despairing and cynical....We are indeed 'saved'by knowing and surrendering to this universal pattern of reality. Knowing the full pattern allows us to let go of our first order, trust the disorder, and, sometimes even hardest of all—to trust the new reorder. Three big leaps of faith for all of us, and each of a different character." Stock #: B53346

Very insightful and relevant

The book provides a "journal" of the very meaningful journey of the Church from pre-Vatican II to the present. It also acknowledges the "differences" or "divide" between Catholics' view of/interpretation of this journey. To those readers who are "children of Vatican II" (as is Pope Francis), the books provides a needed "shot in the arm" to "keep the faith."

Very Helpful

Very helpful to understand the mess we are in right now - in the States and around the world. Gave me some hope to keep open and attentive.

The Wisdom Pattern: Order, Disorder, Reorder

It’s an eye opener book, on chapter that I needed to skip to was Chapter 4 where father Rohr writes about transformation; this chapter helped me understand to not own situations or problems I have not started, nevertheless, if I can be of help I most do as Jesus ask Love above all things.

The Wisdom Pattern

This is another great book from Fr. Rohr. Plan on reading it at least twice. There is lots of good stuff here.
